Keith TerHorst

Keith joined PLM Lake and Land Management in 2019 after graduating from Grand Valley State University. Based out of the Alto office, he works on lakes of all sizes throughout southwest Michigan, specializing in plant and algae control as part of integrated lake management programs. In this role, Keith supports lake associations and property owners by implementing science-based management practices.

Keith earned his Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management from Grand Valley State University. While in school, he interned with Kent County Parks, gaining experience in land management and presenting at the Midwest Fish & Wildlife Conference.

Through field experience, Keith has expanded his technical knowledge and is a certified pesticide applicator. His hands-on approach and commitment to best management practices support effective lake management across the region.

Outside of work, Keith enjoys working his bird dogs, hunting, and fishing.
