Jeff Fischer joined PLM Lake and Land Management in 2011 while attending Michigan State University. As a Regional Manager based out of PLM’s Morrice office, he works on both lake and pond management programs. In addition to his aquatic responsibilities, Jeff oversees PLM’s terrestrial division, managing large- and small-scale land management projects for municipalities, the State of Michigan, and private clients.
Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Biology from Michigan State University and is a certified applicator. His background in fisheries and land management supports his work across a wide range of aquatic and terrestrial environments.
Before attending MSU, Jeff played baseball at Eastern Michigan University, where he was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 10th round of the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft and played professionally for three years. He continues to stay involved in the sport by giving baseball lessons.
Outside of work, Jeff is an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoys spending time with his family when he’s not on the water or on the ball field.
