About PLM

Ashlee Haviland joined PLM Lake and Land Management in 2025 as Environmental Technical Service Manager. In this role, she develops technical strategies, designs science-based restoration plans, and supports clients in achieving sustainable lake and water quality goals. She works closely with lake associations, municipalities, and regulatory partners to implement comprehensive management programs.

Ashlee holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and environmental studies from Manchester College, a Master of Environmental Science from Taylor University, and a Professional Certificate in Watershed Management from Purdue University. Her academic background supports her work in lake restoration, nutrient management, and watershed planning.

Ashlee is a Certified Lake Manager with extensive experience in phosphorus mitigation, internal loading control, and large-scale lake restoration projects. She has coordinated in-lake treatment programs, managed phosphorus reduction efforts, and partnered with state agencies and watershed groups. She is also active in the lake management community, serving on boards and presenting for organizations such as the Indiana Water Monitoring Council, Indiana Lakes Management Society, and Women of Aquatics.

Outside of work, Ashlee enjoys spending time with her family and being out on the water.
