PLM Lake & Land Management’s fountain storage program includes: Removal of fountain in the fall, cleaning, general maintenance check, storage in a heated building and re-installation in the spring. This program ensures that your fountain will receive the proper care needed to maintain the highest performance and life span possible. Allowing PLM to care for your fountain will take the burden off your shoulders when trying to remove and install your fountain.

A combination natural beneficial bacteria, enzymes, and vitamins that stimulate the biological activity at your lake or pond bottom.  This stimulation allows the bacteria to feed on the organic sediment, therefore reducing the muck levels.

Captain is the right tool for economical and effective control of a broad spectrum of filamentous and planktonic algae.This premium quality aquatic algaecide is 9% double chelated copper. Algae control occurs in 3 to 7 days following application when applied according to label directions. Water treated with Captain may be used for swimming, fishing, watering livestock and for irrigating turf, fairways, putting greens and ornamental plants immediately after treatment. (Application rates: .6 to 1.2 gallons per acre-foot of water)

Cutrine Plus is a liquid 9% double-chelated copper algaecide. Effective against a wide variety of algal species including Chara. Recommended for use in hard water. No restrictions on water usage or consumption following application. (Application rates: 0.6 to 1.2 gallons per acre-foot of water treated). Do not be fooled when comparing prices or looking at only the percent activity of 8% versus 9% copper. While this equates to a net 12% difference in activity, more realistically, the 0.8 lbs/gal active in other products must be compared to the 0.909 lbs/gal active in Cutrine-Plus. On this basis, Cutrine-Plus is 13.6% more active than copper algaecides containing 0.8 lbs of elemental copper per gallon. Cutrine-Plus is the only patented, chelated copper algaecide available on today’s market. Part of the Cutrine-Plus formulation patent is based upon the fact that both monoethanolamine and triethanaolamine are combined in the product in such a way that both solubilization and chelation occur in the production process. A product is produced which has a greater stability (shelf-life), is compatible within a wider range of water qualities, and is less corrosive to application equipment than products containing a single chelating agent. These benefits are provided without any resultant loss in algicidal activity. The 10.5 pH of Cutrine-Plus (the highest in the industry) attests to its compatibility in even extremely alkaline waters. Therefore, all copper products are not chelated equal, only Cutrine-Plus has a patented formulation.

This is Cutrine-Plus with a twist. Applied Biochemists has improved standard 9% double chelated Cutrine-Plus through the addition of an emulsified surfactant. This gives Cutrine-Plus Ultra greater control over resistant forms of algae such as Hydrodictyon and Oscillatoria.

AquaPro® is your best choice for brush, cattail and other emergent plant problems. AquaPro is a glyphosate-based herbicide for non-selective broad-spectrum weed control and is specially formulated for use around aquatic environments, without harming fish.

Herbicides

Aquathol Kis a liquid aquatic herbicide concentrate which is effective for the control of a variety of aquatic plants. Wide margin of tolerance for fish and other aquatic animals. Aquathol Super K is a highly concentrated form of aquathol. Super K is 62% active ingredient and is for use in ponds and lakes which under field conditions has shown to be effective against a broad range of aquatic plants. Restrictions after application are: irrigation, domestic and livestock use – 14 days, 1 day no swimming. (Application rates vary from approximately 8 lb. to 52 lb. per acre according to depth and dosage rate needed).

Hydrothol 191 Granular 40# Pail – $180.00 plus tax and shipping

Hydrothol 191 is a granular herbicide which is very effective against a broad spectrum of submersed weeds such as pondweeds, naiads, milfoils, coontail, stargrass, hydrilla, canada waterweed; and many algae types including resistant algaes. A great choice for lakeshore weed & algae control. Apply with a hand scoop or hand held spreader.

Nautique is a fast-acting, economical herbicide that provides localized control of nuisance and exotic plants with no use or irrigation restrictions and minimal risk to the environment. This copper-based herbicide works on contact for spot and local treatment of tough weeds like hydrilla, egeria and southern naiad. Nautique is formulated with 9% chelated copper and is the most concentrated chelated copper herbicide available. It may be used in lakes, rivers, reservoirs, ponds, potable water sources, crop and non-crop irrigation systems (ditches, canals and laterals), fish, golf course, ornamental, swimming and fire ponds and aquaculture including fish and shrimp.
